Milano United with an impressive 2-o win against high flying Royal Eagles yesterday at the Athlone Stadium, got back to winning ways and helped ease the pressure off the Kinnes at the foot of the table.

As early as the fourth minute, following Bongile Booi's header opener from a well delivered Faeez Khan cross, the kinnes stamped their authority over the high spending Eagles. The kinnes were not going to lay back in this contest and fought tooth and nail for every little scrap.Winning both the first and second ball contests would see the lacklustre Eagles, who hardly troubled Naicker's goals end a dissapointing display yet again in the mother city.

Yusuf Jappies brilliant solo effort goal in the second stanza, after being played a delightfuly through pass from Fawaaz Basadien was enough to see off the tie, which the kinnes could have won by a bigger margin, had it not been for some poor finishing in front of the Eagles goals by Milano.

'Eagles were lucky not to get seven, was the words from one of the passionate Milano Supporters.

Milano next travels to Polokwane for a clash with Magesi on the 4th March 2017 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium
